A corrosion-resistant special-shaped split retaining ring is a mechanical component designed to secure parts onto shafts or within bores. Its unique, split design allows it to be installed or removed easily without the need for a full assembly teardown. The "special-shaped" aspect refers to its customized geometric form, which can be tailored to meet specific application requirements, providing a precise fit and enhanced holding strength.

These rings are constructed from materials such as stainless steel, nickel alloys, or other corrosion-resistant metals and coatings.
